SAFETY | OSHA | COVID-19
Our contractors integrate Covid-19 protocol into each and every project. In order to make sure all persons in and around the job site remain unharmed and healthy. Safety is our number one priority!
More about our protocol and Covid-19
Moreover, we actively promote, implement, and enforce Covid-19 and other safety protocols throughout our daily business practices in order to certify safety.
Finally, there is no greater value than assuring our projects are completed successfully and accident free.
Covid Protocol and Security Approach
First, we invest in our employees!
Secondly, we train our professionals periodically to ensure they're informed and comfortable using any tool or machinery.
Third, we offer constant guidance, and methods needed to work safely and productively every day.
And last but not least our contractors use masks at all times.
Five protocol and construction safety tips:
1. Get In and Out of equipment
Besides getting in and out of their equipment carefully. Our employees check your boots and gloves for mud or slippery substances. Use a step ladder if necessary to make sure you can climb on the equipment safely. And finally, they ask for help if needed.
2. Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Moreover, our licensed contractors oblige our protocol policies. By wearing the right clothes for the job. Which means, wearing protective gear if need be.
Finally, United Structures ensures safety is our number one priority! This is why our Covid-19 and safety protocols enlists: to wear gloves, goggles and a breathing mask on the worksite if you’re using dangerous tools; or around certain debris. And, if we’re working on an elevated area and there’s a risk of slipping and falling, we wear a safety harness.
3. Staying safe unloading and loading equiptment is part of our protocol
No matter where you’re working, there’s always the risk of equipment rolling over if you’re loading or unloading it.
And, this is why our protocol is emphasized during training. It's important to make sure the ramps we are using sit straight and cleared. However, we also allow plenty of room between us and the equipment in case of an emergency.
4. Climbing Hazards
Our employees protocol is to always inspect a ladder or stairs before they step on them.
At the same time, checking for damaged, loose, worn, weak, and otherwise broken spots.
5. Protocol to avoid crowded work areas
Although there is a lot going on while on a construction site. United Structures makes sure work areas are cleared for our contractors.
As a result United Structures asks that areas stay cleared for our technicians. Because minimizing the traffic and obstacles will ensure safety.
Thus, this protocol allows material, tools and other machinery without causing further hazerous situations.
Reasons for Our Excellent Track Record
Our excellent track record is attributed to:

Safe and regularly inspected equipment
Extensive planning of safe methods and sequencing
